Te Hiku Manaiakalani Outreach 2 First Movie Festival
This year has been our first Te Hiku Movie Festival, the movies have been played on the big screen at the Te Ahu Cinema in Kaitaia on Thursday 7 November.
This is one of the lucky movies to be chosen from our school. Congratulations to everyone involved in the production of this movie.

I really like the camera angels and now I know more about global warming. Next time you should make your audio the same volume as it was loud then quit. Overall, I think this was a really cool movie.

ReplyDeleteNice films Mangonui. I think they are both amazing. On global warming my favourite part is when Jimmy gets swiped by the ocean. On trespasser my favourite part is when he gets busted by his dad. Our school did two films too and one got second! Did you guys get placed in the top 3?

Hi, I'm Ella, from Ahipara School. I was at the Film Festival and I enjoyed watching your movies. The plots were amazing, with a good amount of humour, so the story could go as it was meant to. Next time you make movies, you could try to make your lighting better, as somtimes it was a bit difficult to see, but other than that, it was brilliant. I hope that I can see more of this work!

ReplyDeleteI really liked the trespassing movie because it was funny and had a great story line. But at the end I couldn't hear as well as the rest of the movie. Next time you should double check that. Anyway great start to your movie making career.

ReplyDeleteKia ora Mangonui school,Great films my favorite parts was when the trespasser crossed out the words on the sign and changed it too keep trespassing.The second film was the end when he yelling noooo. Keep up the great mahi Mangonui school. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso maybe you could improve your film by pronouncing the words more clear because it was hard to understand what they were saying on your second film.

Hi, my name is Phoenix and I go to Ahipara school. The first thing I liked about your film was the volume of your voice, it was nice and loud. Secondly I loved your facial expression it really makes your film more alive. Thirdly, I thought your film was very interesting and the actors are really good at acting.
ReplyDeletecool shortfilms mangonui school , my favorite part in the trespassers film is at the end when the father says "oh your gonna be grounded , how long should I say , how about 1 week" it's very funny lol . I loved how the camara man/ladie took great shots from diffirent angels and what made those shots even better is that the videoing was straight and still , not all wobbly and out of place also actors you's did amazing . next time you's could possibly use some facial expressions , other than that great work from lexis Ahipara school
